Parent’s Role in e-learning

E-learning is a form of learning exclusively based on electronic devices. Although using electronic devices for studying is not a terrible thing, if children misuse the devices in the name of studying, it will harm them. This is the responsibility of their parents.

The advantage of e-learning is that the child will have all the study resources at his fingertips. The browser will be very helpful for studying, as all videos, images, and definitions related to the study will be available.

One disadvantage is that it could affect a student’s study cycle if a child misuses an electronic device.

The solution to this disadvantage is very simple: parents just have to keep an eye on their children. It will be very helpful.

It is imperative for parents not to restrict students too much. However, they should also limit restrictions. And don’t let your child know that you are keeping an eye on them.

It is up to parents in e-learning to help their children when they face difficulties. Parents should ask their children what they learned today after the online lecture. If they have any doubts? Any help from parents?

This will help students to balance their study life. If parents lend a helping hand to e-learning, no student will fail.

Parents should support their children and not pressurize them.

Brief Summary of what parents should do in E-learning:

1. Ask their child what they learned in the last lecture.

2. Ask them about the difficulties they have.

3. The purpose of this is to control the use of electronic devices and to make sure they are only used when necessary.

4. Care for their side effects, such as screen addiction.

5. Help them locate useful e-learning resources.
